THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Kutzky Park neighborhood is located in the heart of Rochester, Minnesota, a few blocks west of the Mayo Clinic. Kutzky Park is distinguished by its tree-canopied streets and park – and beautiful older homes in a wide diversity of architectural styles, including: Craftsman, Bungalow, Four-Square, English Cottage, Cape Cod, and Colonial Revival. The neighborhood is surrounded by employment, shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities.

85-Mile Bike System

Rochester is well known for the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, but bicycling in this scenic southern Minnesota city is anything but clinical. The city’s robust, 85-mile network of bike trails meanders along the winding banks of the Zumbro River, through downtown, and past an assortment of unique, locally owned businesses.

Kinney Creek Brewery

Making several varieties of Midwest brewed beer and sourcing many ingredients from local neighbors. Currently introducing products to customers at the taproom, distributing to local liquor stores, bars and exchanging growlers. No food served, but carry-in or delivery allowed.

Pop’s Art Theater

A locally owned and operated arthouse theater showing old favorites and new independent films including international and award winning titles. Pop’s serves popcorn, candy, and drinks, and has a small shop for DVDs, VHS, and film related music for you to browse! The theater also hosts private screenings and special events such as panel discussions, Live Cast performances, live music, and parties.

People's Food Coop

Rochester Farmers Markets are hosted by the Rochester Downtown Farmers Market Association, seeking to support sustainable agriculture and the family farm by sponsoring a market to provide farmers with a well-organized retail marketplace, providing local access to quality farm products, and strengthening the ties between the family farm and the community.
